Carol Brown has been a science educator since 2008; when she completed her BSc. (Physical Sciences Major, Biological Sciences Minor) and BEd (Secondary Education). She has taught high school science in Alberta and has also worked as a part time science and mathematics teacher in New Brunswick. Carol completed a MEd. in Secondary Education (Science Education) in 2014 and is currently a PhD student in Secondary Education at the University of Alberta.
Carol's research interests relate to how science education can respond to the proliferation of science misinformation and help prepare citizens to find accurate and high quality science information and sources.
Tracey Stock has taught Grade 7-12 Sciences since 1997. She completed her M.Ed. in Science Education in 2010 and spent 3 years at Alberta Education supporting curriculum development. Tracey is currently teaching Science and Math with Elk Island Public Schools in Alberta, Canada.
